Tonight, two return games will be played in the eighth round of Champions League, the first of which will be English Manchester City guests of Spanish Atlético Madrid, and English Liverpool will welcome Portugal’s Benfica.

The coach of the four clubs, at the press conference before the two games, expressed his views on the games as follows:

Jürgen Klup , Liverpool’s coach :

We played a good game in Benfica and it made me happy. We really want to be the team that no one hopes to face.

Benfica plays strong and defends well. We know how and how they play and how they try to keep Darwin alone and take advantage of Rafa Selva’s speed. They have a lot to work on.

This is a very important game. Last year we tried very hard to reach the European Champions League, and now we have the opportunity to reach the semifinals.

Unbelievable, we played against City on the weekend, how i had to think about other players, this time we play against Benfica, how we should think about something else.

Nelson Verisimo , Benfica’s coach :

Although we know that our task in this game is very difficult and we play against one of the best football clubs in the world, we believe in our abilities and we trust what we did in the first game.

Of course, we will have some options to use in this game and we will have opportunities to take advantage of them.

We know that we need to play actively and score goals, and be patient while defending.

The most important thing in this game for us is to understand the way Liverpool plays.

Diego Simony , Atlico Madrid coach :

We’re going to face a team that’s really playing well, occupying the races and it’s very fast, it’s a quick team of attacking and taking advantage of the narrowest areas, but we hope to do what you can. We are, I think what we did in the first game gives us hope, even though we don’t have to look for wishes and hopes. We really have to control the game and, as I’ve always said, we have to play the same way we do.

I think we can harm them, but everything I say today makes no sense. We have to play well in the stadium and get it done.

Pepp Guardiola , Manchester City coach :

We travel while we have a good result and are interested in winning, this time the game will be different, as Atlico Madrid plays on its own stadium, they play better for their fans, attacking our goal at some point in the game and creating problems for us, but we need to adapt and defend.

We are close to the end of the season and we should be proud that we are in the current situation. I wanted to have more time to prepare, but we behave well and we don’t feel tired. We are close to the pre-final stage, we may lose because of a bad level or they will be better than us, not because we are tired.
